Error message pop-up saying “You Have Only 0 Available for Commitment at This Location” when entering an Item line in a Transfer Order even though there is enough quantity available for the transfer.
The error can be resolved by editing the Location record where the quantity to be transferred is coming from. User needs to update the location record to make sure that the Make Inventory Available options is set up.
- Go to Setup > Company > Locations
- Select Location
- Click Edit
- Set the Make Inventory Available checkbox = T
- Click Save
After saving the location record, when entering the item line in the Transfer Order page, there should be no error message and the quantity will be automatically committed.
