Error on Balancing by Segments Process

Issue statement: When running the Balancing by Segments Process, the customer is encountering an error: Status: Failed.

Solution:

To resolve the error, re-toggle the feature and run the Balance Transactions by Segments process again:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Accounting Tab
  2. In the Accounting Tab > Advanced Features:
  3. Disable the Balancing Segments
  4. Hit Save
  5. Navigate again to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Accounting Tab
  6. In the Accounting Tab > Advanced Features
  7. Re-enable the Balancing Segments
  8. Hit Save
  9. Navigate to Transactions > Financial > Balance Transactions by Segments and set the fields as necessary
  10. Click on Run
  11. Click on Refresh until Status is Complete.
