Error When Saving the Dropship Order – “Transaction Subsidiary Is not Valid for Item”

In a OneWorld account, attempting to save a Sales Order with a Dropship Assembly Item may trigger an unexpected error. This occurs when one of the Assembly Item’s components is assigned a different Subsidiary Restriction.

Follow these steps to correct the issue:

  1. Open the component record.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. In the Subsidiary field, select Parent Subsidiary.
  4. Check the box for Include Children.
  5. Click Save.

After completing these steps, users will be able to successfully save a Sales Order containing a Dropship Assembly Item.
