When a shopper adds a Matrix Item to the cart, an error “Sorry, there is a problem with this Item and can not be purchased at this time. Please check back later.” will pop-up and item cannot be added. One of the possible causes of the issue is a misconfiguration of the Transaction Item Options associated for the Matrix Item.
Solution
To resolve:
- Verify the item option associated to the Matrix Item
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Item Options
- Click on the Transaction Item Options verified in Step 1
- Click on Sourcing & Filtering sub tab
- Populate Source List and Source From fields correctly
- Save
