Scenario

User is using Asset Proposal when creating new assets. However, they can’t proceed to propose assets because they are experiencing the error message below when they navigate to Fixed Assets > Transactions > Manage Asset Proposal:

Solution

To address the problem, user need to complete the Fixed Asset System Setup page by doing the following steps:

 

1. Navigate to Documents > Files > File Cabinet > SuiteBundles > Copy the Internal ID beside the src folder of Bundle 336697

Note: Make sure that the Show Internal ID user preference is enabled under Home > Set Preferences > General tab. (The SuiteBundle ID might change when there is a new version for the bundle)

2. Navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > System Setup

3. Under Reports tab, input the Internal ID from Step 1 into Folder to Use for Reporting (Internal ID) field

4. Click Submit

 

Going back to Fixed Assets > Transactions > Manage Asset Proposal, there will be no error and we can now propose assets successfully.
