You want to limit the selection in your Items sublist on your Sales Orders. Since the item selection are way too many as seen below:
Create the Saved Search:
Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
On the New Saved Search page, click on Item
On the Saved Item Search page, set the fields below:
- Search Title: <Set your search title here>
Criteria subtab:
- Type: is Inventory Item
- Name: has keyword Akko
Note: Feel free to change the criteria of the Saved Search depending on your business purposes.
Once you’re satisfied with your criteria, the results should now be filtered based on what you set as seen below:
Customize the Custom Form:
On your Sales Order page, navigate to Customize > Customize Form
On the Custom Transaction Form page, navigate to Sublist Fields subtab and set the field below:
- Item Filter: <The Saved Search we created earlier>
Results:
Once done, the Item sublist should now be filtered as seen below:
