We have found one option in Netsuite to set the from email address of emails.
Setup -> Company -> Email Preference -> under Transaction sub-tab -> FROM ADDRESS FOR EMAILED FORMS,
1. Company Return Email Address – Email is sent from the address you enter in the Return Email Address field at Setup > Company > Company Information
2. Subsidiary Return Email Address – the RETURN EMAIL ADDRESS added in the subsidiary will be set as the sender of the emails. If the field RETURN EMAIL ADDRESS is empty, then the default email address from company information will be the sender of the email.
3. User Email Address – Email is sent from the address you enter in the From Email Address field at Home > Set Preferences. If you do not enter an email address here, an email is sent from your login email address.
We have set Subsidiary Return Email Address in FROM ADDRESS FOR EMAILED FORMS in email preference. And Return Email Address is not blank in the subsidiary. But when we send a statement email to the customer From Print Checks & Forms option, the email address from the return email address in company information is set as the from email address.
The email from address is not set based on the return email address of the corresponding subsidiary. However, we found that the same is working as expected for the Invoice emails
Could you please share your insights for setting the from email address of Statement email based on the subsidiary?

Per checking, the Statement is not considered as a Transaction record in the system. This is the reason why it is not following the Subsidiary Return Email Address set in Email Preferences > Transactions.
Pe checking, the Return Email per subsidiary preference only works with certain transactions such as:
- Purchase Order
- Sales Order
- Cash Refund
- Cash Sale
- Customer Credit
- Invoice
- Estimate
- Return Authorization
