Edit the Customer Center role in NetSuite to give your customers permission to request a quote and view their submitted quotes.
To edit the Customer Center role permissions for Quotes:
- Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
- Click Customize next to the Customer Center role.
- Go to the Permissions tab and the Transactions subtab.
- Change the level of access for the Estimate/Quote permission to Create.
- Click OK to accept the change.
- Click Save.
- Give your customers access to the Customer Center role to let them view quotes.
After a customer submits a request for a quote, an Estimate/Quote record is created in NetSuite.
