GL Impact not Showing from Item Receipt/Item Fulfillment

Scenario

1. Create a Return Authorization from a Sales Order
2. Click Receive on the Return Authorization created from the first step
3. Show GL Impact from Item Receipt

(or)

1. Create a Sales Order
2. Click the Fulfill button on a Sales order.
3. Save the Item Fulfillment
4. Show GL Impact from Item Fulfillment

Actual result: No GL impact is shown

Solution

One of the most common reasons why a GL Impact will not show is due to a pending cost recalculation. The solution for this is to wait for the calculation to complete. Check the GL Impact of the item receipt again and it should now show.
