GL Impact of Stand-Alone Invoice (Kit Item)

Scenario:

Stand Alone Invoices that utilize Kit Items will only hit the Asset and COGS Account of the Kit’s Components existing during the Invoice Creation.

Adding new components to the Kit Item will not update the GL Impact of the existing Stand Alone Invoice.

Solution

The user needs to Edit and Save the Stand Alone Invoice to update its GL Impact. Allow the system to finish recalculation to reflect the current cost of the components.
