Google Updates Image Structured Data API

Google has updated its ImageObject API, making it easier for websites to use image metadata. It has added three new properties, including copyright, creator and credit. These properties are an improvement over the previous method of using IPTC photo metadata. The IPTC is a standards body for news media, and it aims to make adding credit and licensing information about photos easier.

Google also added a feature that allows you to search for the license of an image. Previously, this feature was only available to merchants who use the Merchant Center. It displays licensable badges on images that have this data. In addition, Google expanded the list of products that are eligible to use enhanced product experiences in Google Search. Before, only merchants who used the Merchant Center could use product structured data. Google also updated its documentation on how to use product structured data in Google Search.

Structured data is becoming more important in SEO for a variety of reasons. For one, it can improve your rankings. It will help you to make your website more informative for searchers. It will also help you to add additional information about your products and services. The structured data also allows you to add content creator data to your site.

One of the biggest benefits of structured data is that it makes search results more relevant. The internet is becoming more complex. Having the ability to organize information in a more organized way makes Google’s mission easier. The more structured your content is, the more likely it is to show up in the Images section of the search results.
