Challenge
What do you do when you have users that need admin-level privileges, yet as the Administrator, you need to be compliant and not allow them to view sensitive information? This is common when working with auditors and other financial users
TIP
An easy way to accommodate this is to use “Core Administrative Permissions” by checking the “Core Administrative Permissions” box on the role record that you
want to enable for administrative privileges. Once saved, provide the role to appropriate users. Most times, this is a temporarily level of granted permission. For example, you may have developers within your organization working on your NetSuite account that requires admin-level access to complete their project but should not have access to view personnel information.
Keeping confidential data secure is vital, yet you also need to allow your users to perform their responsibilities. By providing administrative side access only, users can fully execute their responsibilities while ensuring sensitive data is kept private.
