How to cancel Transfer Order remaining quantity

REQUIREMENT

How can I cancel the remaining quantity on TO?

For example, Transfer Order quantity is 100 PCS, from Warehouse A to Warehouse B. Warehouse A fulfills 100 PCS, IF quantity is 100. When Warehouse B receive the TO, they check the inventory, there are only 80 PCS, 20 PCS are left in Warehouse A, and they will be transfered in another shipment.

Instead of correcting the quantity on TO and IF, is it possible to cancel the 20 PCS on TO, so that the 20 PCS will go back to Warehouse A?

SOLUTION

1. Create Transfer Order for 100 quantities.
2. Fulfill the order for 100 quantities.
3. Receive the order for 80 quantities.
4. Edit the Item Fulfillment record created from step#2 and change the quantity from 100 to 80. Configure inventory detail as needed.
5. Edit the Transfer Order and close the line so there is no need to receive the remaining quantities.
