Changing your NetSuite password is a simple process that ensures the security of your account. Follow these step-by-step instructions to update your password effortlessly.
Steps to Change NetSuite Password:
- Login to NetSuite:
- Access your NetSuite account using your email ID ‘test.user@test.in’ and the current password.
- Navigate to Employee Record:
- Click on ‘Edit’ in the employee record.
- Access Password Settings:
- Navigate to the ‘Access’ subtab and check the checkbox ‘MANUALLY ASSIGN OR CHANGE PASSWORD.’
- Set a New Password:
- Add a new password in the ‘PASSWORD’ field.
- Confirm the new password in the ‘CONFIRM PASSWORD’ field.
- Password Criteria:
- Ensure that the password: Is at least 10 characters long.
- Does not contain illegal characters.
- Contains at least 3 of the 4 character types: Uppercase alpha characters (A, B, … Z)
- Lowercase alpha characters (a, b, … z)
- Numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0)
- Non-alphanumeric ASCII characters (!@#$%^&.:;~’` “/+?-,_|=()[]{}<> )

- A message will appear: “Test.user@test.in login has related Entities. The new password will apply to all Entities. OK to proceed?”
- Click the ‘Ok’ button to save the changes.
- Password Updated:

- Log in with New Password:
- Now the user can log in using the email ID ‘test.user@test.in‘ and the new password.
