How to create an Income Statement Detail per period

Currently, when running an Income Statement Detail report it is currently not possible to set the report to accounting period per column since the Column footer in the report is not available:

This is currently an enhancement under 199011 Reports>Financial>Balance Sheet Detail/Income Statement Detail – show Column filter at the footer of the report

If users want to show the details of the Income Statement report in a per period column basis, we can customize the summary. Here’s how:

1.) Navigate to Reports > Financial > Income Statement

2.) Click Customize

3.) Go to Edit Columns and add the following fields (to reflect the Income Statement Detail), Go to Add Fields:

Financial folder > Transaction Type subfolder > Transaction Type Long Name

Financial folder > Date

Financial folder > Document Number

Financial folder > Split

4.) Save your report

5.) When running the report, set column to Accounting Period
