Challenge: Recently one of the client asked, if we could UPDATE all the WORKFLOWS for one NetSuite field. As there were over 20 WORKFLOWS on the TRANSACTION TYPE. It was challenging to identify which workflow is using the field. NetSuite does not provide any standard way to find it other than going to the individual workflow manually and looking for the field.
Solution: If we are familiar with SDF, then we can download the XML Objects for the Workflows and can search those Objects for a particular field to identify the list of WORKFLOWS using the field and also which stage, conditions are using the field in the workflow.
