How to Resolve Facet Configuration not taking effect in SuiteCommerce Advanced

To Resolve this issue

1. Ensure that the correct Field ID is being used by the configuration:

  1. Navigate to Commerce > Websites > Website List
  2. Click Edit on the website record you are using
  3. Navigate to Search Index tab > Facet Fields sub-tab
  4. Make sure that the Field ID defined for the Facet Fields is the one being used in the Item Field ID in the Configuration record.

2. If URL Components for Facet is being used, this takes precedence over the default Field ID:

  1. Navigate to Commerce Marketing > URL Components for Facets 
  2. Click View on the facet record
  3. If this is the case, you would instead use the defined URL Component of the specific Facet for the Item Field ID in the Configuration record.
