India Localization Suitetax engine Bundle Update 2025.2

With India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp 2025.2, you’ll be able to set up vendor exemption rules for periods of less than a year. This change will align exemption rules with TDS certificates that are issued for shorter durations, such as a quarter or a few months.

The India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp 2025.2 is targeted for release on October 14, 2025.After the release, you must:

  • Create a TDS rule for each vendor exemption rule.
  • Review calculated TDS amounts for all existing transactions involving vendor exemption rules.
  • Use the new Verify TDS Amount page to identify and address any discrepancies between the exact and calculated TDS amounts.

Important:You must complete the required actions after October 14, 2025, or you may see incorrect TDS amounts on your vendor bills going forward.

Required Actions

To ensure correct TDS amounts are reflected on your vendor bills, complete the following.

  • Add a TDS Rule for Each Vendor Exemption You must create a TDS rule for each vendor exemption rule.
  • Review Existing Vendor Bills Use the new Verify TDS Amount page to compare exact TDS amounts with NetSuite calculated amounts for all vendor bills involving exemption rules. To access the page, go to Setup > India Localization > Verify TDS Amount.
  • Address Discrepancies in TDS amounts If differences exist between the exact and calculated TDS amounts, you must: Edit the existing vendor exemption rule, or
  • Inactivate the existing rule and create a new rule with the correct exemption details.
