Installing the NetSuite WMS SuiteApps

To set up Warehouse Management in NetSuite, two SuiteApps need to be installed in the correct order to avoid setup issues:

1. SCM Mobile SuiteApp

• Provides the mobile application for processing warehouse tasks and orders.

1. Oracle NetSuite WMS SuiteApp

• Contains the business logic for warehouse operations.

Both SuiteApps can be installed in either sandbox or production accounts.

Step-by-Step Installation Process

1. Log in as Administrator:

• Navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.

1. Search for the Bundle:

• Enter the bundle name or ID in the Keywords field and click Search.

1. Install the SCM Mobile SuiteApp:

• Select the SCM Mobile bundle from the search results.
• Click Install (if available).
• On the Preview Bundle Install page, click Install Bundle.
• Confirm permissions for future bundle updates if prompted.
• The SCM Mobile bundle installs

1. Install the Oracle NetSuite WMS SuiteApp:

• After SCM Mobile is installed, repeat the above steps for the Oracle NetSuite WMS SuiteApp.
• This bundle installation takes 20–30 minutes.

1. Monitor Installation Progress:

• Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List to check the status of the installations.

Post-Installation Steps

1. Enable Warehouse Management:

• Activate the Warehouse Management feature and system rule in NetSuite.

1. Handle Inactive or Uninstalled SuiteApps:

• If the Oracle NetSuite WMS SuiteApp becomes inactive, deactivate the corresponding system rule to avoid order processing issues on mobile devices.
