AMEX Bank Integrations:
- If the purpose of integrating AMEX in NetSuite is to import employee credit card expenses, check SuiteAnswers 95160 | American Express Integration for Expense Reporting. The article mentions that American Express only supports integration with corporate accounts. Business accounts are not included by American Express for integration with NetSuite.
- If the purpose of integrating AMEX in NetSuite is to import bank transactions, Bank Feeds supports this bank connection depending on the URL we are using when logging in to our Online Banking Website. To confirm if our bank’s URL is compatible with Bank Feeds, refer SuiteAnswers 90911 | Supported Financial Institutions for Bank Feeds SuiteApp. The article contains an attachment showing all compatible URLs per bank connections.
See attached link to the file for the list of financial institutions operating in Canada and the United States that are supported by bank feeds integration: https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/ci/okcsFattach/get/90911_10
The AMEX Business Platinum card is supported by Bank Feeds SuiteApp for integration. The data might not immediately come to the ‘match bank data’ page. It may come from:
- Click the Update Imported Bank Data button on the Match Bank Data page.
There may be instances when your bank post transactions after the SuiteApp has finished running the scheduled daily import. When this happens, the system will not import them until the next scheduled daily import. To make these transactions available immediately on your NetSuite account, you can rebuild your financial institution connection.
- Wait until the next scheduled time of bank data import via SuiteApp.
- Update the Bank Feeds Format Profile Records.
Update the provisioned format profile records by editing and saving the record without making any changes. Each time a format profile record is saved, the system triggers the bank data retrieval and import process.
