We are using a workflow to give a reminder to the customer via email. We created an email template and a saved search for this invoice reminder. We are giving a reminder to the customer based on the due date.
Search Criteria:
Search type is a transaction
Type: Invoice
Due date:(Changes based on the requirement)
MainLine: True
Status: Open
Schedule of the Workflow:
The workflow has to be set as Scheduled in the Initiation
Frequency as daily. We have to choose the saved search based on which the workflow works. Add an execution time- at what time the workflow has to run (Try to avoid running workflows for the same record at the same point of time. Some times it causes an error.)
Setting Sender and CC:
Set the sender as the current record: Customer
In the CC field, we can specify the email address or we can use a custom field in formula format, like {cutbody_jj_email}.
