Issues associated with the feature “payment instrument”

While enabling the feature ‘payment instrument’, There are some issues with the ‘edit’ option.

  1. The standard fields are non-editable
  2. If the user tries to ‘edit’ the existing card after enabling the feature ‘payment instrument’, The expiration month will set default to ‘1’.

Since the fields are not-editable, after clicking the ‘Update card’ or ‘cancel’ option it will show the correct expiry month of the card.

But this will create confusion for the users.

Reply of NetSuite customer support: Standard fields on the credit card is not editable when payment instruments is enabled because it is already tokenized.
