Item promotion based on subsidiary: Find a way to get the item promotion based on subsidiary specific as well, as if run different specials/campaigns that AUS does
Our Solution
We have to update the custom module for My Account and shopping pages and the extensions for checkout pages separately.
Currently, the promotion tab is available for all the subsidiaries. So we have to update that, the tab will not be shown for subsidiaries other than the USA and AUS.
We have to create a new field for USA promotion and for AUS we can use the same field by rename existing fields. And the field will be showing under the webstore tab in the item record.
We have to create a new price level for the USA promotion price(USA eCommerce Promotion Price).
For USA customers, if the USA promotion is enabled then the price from the USA eCommerce Promotion Price will be shown by striking the default price.
For AUS customers, if the AUS promotion is enabled then the price from the AA eCommerce Promotion Price will be shown by striking the default price
Assumptions
- Currently, there are no fields and price levels added in both Sandbox and production, so we will create a new checkbox field and a price level
- And the price needs to be added once the price level is created for the item record. Could you please provide the new price level scenario if there any MARKUP/DISCOUNT % is needed to be updated in the price level record creation?
- We assume OX Tools will be updating the price for USA Promotion price level
