Overview 

SuiteCommerce Intelligent Item Recommendations lets you display items that a shopper may like to buy. Artificial intelligence algorithms use shopper data, including the shopper’s transaction history, to calculate which items to recommend.  

You can choose the number of recommended items to show and which pages of the website you want to show them on. The product image, name, and price are shown for each recommended item.  

This extension uses the Site Management Tools user interface to add content directly to your pages. 

Recommendations come in two forms: 

1. “You might like” recommendations, which are targeted at specific customers based on their purchase history. 

2. “Customers who bought this also bought” recommendations, which are targeted at specific items and are based on the purchase history of customers who have bought the item. 

Recommendations are recalculated every 24 hours using the latest transaction data to improve the data models and the quality of the recommendations. 

SuiteAnalytics datasets and workbooks are included for in-depth analysis.

Requirements for Intelligent Item Recommendations for Websites

In addition to these requirements, to show intelligent recommendations, a website must use both: 

1. SuiteCommerce or SuiteCommerce Advanced 18.2 or later. 

2. Site Management Tools (SMT) version 3 or later. 

To check which types of recommendations are available for a website, go to Commerce > Marketing > Intelligent Recommendations > Recommendation Availability. 

On the page we can filter out the Recommendation Availability for our website and subsidiary based on the Recommendation Availability it’ll show us the suggestions.
