LinkedIn Just Released 3 New Features For Pages

During its most recent quarterly release, LinkedIn announced the rollout of new features to pages. Among the features, are the ‘Our featured commitments’ section, a new summary page and a new link sticker.

The company also released the ‘LinkedIn Cover Story’, a ring of in-built video that plays around your profile photo. In a nutshell, the feature shows you your latest post, while showcasing some of your other favorite posts from the past. It’s not available to all page users, but those with more than 200 employees will get their chance soon.

The ‘LinkedIn Live’ feature lets you stream a webinar or video from your page, with a video playing on your page after the event. Aside from allowing you to engage with your audience, this feature also helps you gain first-party data. For example, you can see how many people watched the webinar, if they watched it and if they left a comment. You can even create a follow up post after the webinar to promote it to your followers.

The ‘LinkedIn Lead Generation Form’ is a streamlined way for you to share your email address and other contact details, and to submit your contact information faster. You can use this feature on your website, in your emails or on your LinkedIn profile. You can choose to have your contact information saved in the form, or you can submit it as an attachment to a message. You can also customize the CTA buttons for your page.

The ‘LinkedIn Events’ feature is a nifty little tool that lets you list and sort your past and upcoming events on your page. You can also use the ‘Events’ tab to view a chronological list of your events. It’s important to note, however, that you can only edit your events once they’re listed, but you can cancel them. You can also ‘pin’ comments to your brand’s page to enhance interactions.

The ‘LinkedIn Pulse’ is a microsite that lets you post links to your blog or website. It also allows you to post articles on the platform. These are a great way to increase your brand’s awareness outside of your normal followers base. You can choose to include these links in a pinned comment or you can have them displayed as a ‘Popular’ post.

There are many more features that are available on the platform. For example, you can search for topic hashtags to find relevant content, and you can find out more about your followers and competitors by looking at their analytics. These features help you level the playing field and gain first-party data to help you build your brand and business. You can also opt into a ‘LinkedIn alert’ to notify you when your company publishes new content.

The ‘LinkedIn Pinned Comments’ feature is likely to be the most valuable feature for page managers. By pinning your favorite comments to your page, you can boost your interactions and highlight the most popular fan base.
