A memorized transaction is used to automate and schedule recurring transactions in NetSuite — like journal entries, bills, or invoices that happen regularly. A memorized transaction is a transaction you set up to recur in NetSuite.
Navigation: Transaction>Management>Memorized Transactions List
Why use it?
Saves time — no need to re-enter the same transaction every time.
Reminds you — can send alerts if you choose manual posting.
Automates posting — can post on a schedule without user action.
It has two parts:
Template — defines what the transaction is (type).
Definition — defines when and how often it should happen (frequency, next date, auto or manual post).
You can delete a memorized transaction if you no longer want it to recur. Deleting a memorized transaction does not delete the associated transactions.
When you delete a memorized transaction, the change is tracked on the system notes of the memorized transaction.
