Missing Subsidiary on Fixed Assets After Upgrade to OneWorld Account

Scenario
User needs to add Subsidiary to Fixed Assets after upgrading from a single Instance account to a OneWorld account, as the Subsidiary value will remain empty on all the existing Asset records.
Subsidiary is a mandatory value in OneWorld account, therefore no Asset transaction can be done without it.

Solution
Update Subsidiary values for all assets:
Log in as Administrator
Navigate to Fixed Assets > Lists > Assets
Click Customize View
Results subtab: Add Subsidiary field
Click Save
Click Edit switch to enable the inline editing
Subsidiary column: Add Subsidiary for all assets
You could perform mass update to set the subsidiary.
Perform
Reset Asset Values for all assets:

Navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > System Setup
Summarise Journals By: Change the value from Asset Type to Parent
Click Save
Note: Reset Asset Values process is automatically triggered for all assets and can be checked under Fixed Assets > Background Processing > Status. Wait until it is completed.

Navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > System Setup
Summarise Journals By: Change the value back to Asset Type
Click Save
Generate updated
Depreciation Schedules for all assets:
Navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > System Setup
Click Precompute Depreciation Values button
Note: After clicking the button, FAM Process Status page automatically opens. Wait until the Generate Depreciation Schedule process is completed.

Note: After all steps above are completed, check Depreciation History subtab of Asset records. Future DHRs are now populated with the Subsidiary value.

Asset depreciation
Fixed Assets > Transactions>Run Asset Depreciation
Check the depreciation history in the asset record.
Fixed Assets> Reports> Generate report.
Generate the report for that particular subsidiary.
Fixed Assets> Reports> My Reports.
