To move the task from one project to another, follow the steps below
- Navigate to the Issue: Open the issue you want to move from the source project. You can do this by either searching for the issue or navigating through the project where the issue currently resides.

2. Initiate the Move: Within the issue view, you should observe a set of options in the top-right corner (usually represented by three dots or a “More” button). Click on it to open the dropdown menu.

3. Select “Move”: From the dropdown menu, opt for the “Move” option. This will initiate the process of relocating the issue to another project.
4. Choose the Destination Project: You will encounter a dialog or screen where you can designate the destination project for the issue. This is where you specify where you want the issue to be moved.

5.Map Fields: Jira will display a list of fields that exist in both the source and destination projects. You might need to map these fields to ensure accurate data transfer. For instance, if the source project has a field labeled “Component,” and the destination project has a similar field named “Label,” you will need to map them.
6. Confirm and Complete: After mapping the fields, review the summary to ensure everything appears correct. Once you are content, confirm the move. Jira will execute the move, transferring the issue to the new project along with the specified field values.
