We can bring the custom field value retrieved using a Netsuite saved search to the Shopify product variant record meta field.
For this first, we need to create a normal Item Search in Netsuite and add it in Export. The result of the search should include the custom field value
As a next step, we need to create a look-up step to fetch the meta fields in the product variant record. We need to pass the looked up data to the next step (Result Mapping)
Also, add a filter in the look-up to pass only the specific meta field you need to update. So that other meta fields will be ignored.
The last step will be an import to modify the product variant record.
Make sure to create a mapping for meta field id in the import. Else we can only add to the meta field. We won’t be able to update it. It will return an error.
Note: Shopify will not accept null as a value. So if the input is null it will not be reflected in Shopify
