The NetSuite File Cabinet allows all the special characters to be used in a file name, unlike standard file managers in Windows or Mac. However, it has a limit for the maximum number of characters allowed in a file name. According to NetSuite documentation, the best practice is to keep the file names under 100 characters including the file extension.
But, we can use up to 199 characters in a file name. This includes the extension and the dot symbol.
