Workaround for resolving the performance issue due to India localization bundle:
- Customization > Scripting > Scripted Records
- Edit Record (ex. Vendor Bill Record)
- Undeploy all Scripts in User Event Scripts and Client Scripts relating to SuiteTax such as bundles ‘SuiteTax Engine | Bundle ID: 237702’ and ‘India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp | Bundle ID:400562’, by unchecking the “Deploy” checkbox.
- Click Save
- Customization > Scripting > Scripted Records
- Edit Record (ex. Vendor Bill Record)
- Deploy all Scripts in User Event Scripts and Client Scripts relating to SuiteTax
- Click Save
Things to note mentioned by NetSuite support team:
- As advised, there is no impact on existing transactions but you have to do this workaround when it is not peak hours since there might be issues when creating transactions and SuiteTax is currently deployed.
- Estimated time would be 3-4 minutes when performing the workaround and kindly advised users to not create any transactions when doing it.
- I also advised you to do this workaround record per record so you will not have to missed something.
