No Contact Record Is Created Under Lead Record During Web Store Registration

When a user registers to the Web Store, the system creates a Lead record. If the setting for the Web Store is set to create lead/customer records as type Company, a contact record is also created, which can be located under the Relationships sub-tab of the Lead/Customer record

If a contact record is not created, verify that the Display Company Field on Registration Page and Create Customers as Companies options are both enabled:

  1. Navigate to Commerce Websites > Website List
  2. Click Edit next to your Website
  3. Navigate to Shopping tab
  4. Locate the Registration Page section and enable the following options:
    • Display Company Field on Registration Page: Enter Checkmark
    • Create Customers as Companies: Enter Checkmark
  5. Click Save

Note: The form of the contact record shouldn’t have the mandatory field for which there is no value given at the time of registration. Use standard contact form
