OX Tools USA would like to include an additional sub-tab on IF and Invoice.
Requirement
OX Tools USA would like to
- Change the current tab: “CTL Packages” to “Box Information” & leaving the fields exactly the same except for adding a column called “PALLET#”, in front of the BOX# column.
- Add another tab beside the “Box Information” Tab, called “Pallet Information”. The fields of this tab will be the exact same as the “Box Information” tab, but change the name of the “BOX#” column to “PALLET#”.
- This will be changed across all records where this table is shown, USA Invoice & US Item Fulfillment forms.
Our Solution
The requirement can be achieved by the following
- This will be changed across all records where this CTL Packages tab is shown for USA Invoice & US Item Fulfillment forms.
- Create another tab beside the “Box Information” Tab, called “Pallet Information” in the custom form. Need to create a custom record similar to the CTL Packages custom record but with a title PALLET INFORMATION and add this under the “Pallet Information” tab. Replace the name of the “BOX#” field to “PALLET#”. Add a new subtab called PALLET INFORMATION under which add this new custom record PALLET INFORMATION.
- Change the current tab name : “CTL Packages” to “Box Information” & for adding a column called “PALLET#”, in front of the BOX# column, will create a field named “PALLET#” in the custom record “CTL Packages”.
- For Invoice another tab called “Pallet Information” added in the USA Invoice form and for IF under Product Information tab in US Item Fulfillment form. “Box Information” need to add (CTL Packages tab is currently hidden there in the USA Invoice form)
Assumptions
- The modifications can be done in the custom forms USA Invoice & US Item Fulfillment forms that already have the CTL Packages tab.
Risks
- The record entry will be done manually by the user. We haven’t considered any automation at this moment
