The ability to do this is not yet available in the standard NetSuite account. This is currently an enhancement request logged on Enhancement#107921: Transactions > Sales > Enter Sales Order: If the Pick, Pack and Ship is enabled then change the sales orders’ status to reflect the item fulfillments’ status as Pending Fulfillment – Picked or Packed or Shipped.
