Pre-dispatch verification Scanning Page

An icon is created for Pre-Dispatch Verification in WMS. Upon clicking the Icon, the Suitlet page is displayed. User can scan waybill and item labels by following the process flow.  

We have created two fields in Item Fulfilment record, PRE-DISPATCH VERIFICATION DATE, PRE-DISPATCH VERIFICATION DONE BY. On processes complete the user and the date information will be set in these fields.  

If a wrong item is scanned, an alert Mismatch Item is shown. If the item is already scanned, an alert Scanning completed is shown.    

Testing Procedure 

• Open WMS app. (in system – Setup > Customs > Mobile App) 
• Select a warehouse from the list. 
• Go to Picking > Pre-dispatch verification   
• Scan the Waybill barcode using the handheld scanner. 
  Or 
  Click Scan Waybill button to scan the waybill. 
• Waybill barcode can be printed from the item fulfillment page. The custom button for shipping label in the item fulfillment can be used to print the barcode. 
• If one waybill has more than one item fulfillment, on the scanning, the Item fulfillments with the waybill number will list with its status. The user can select the non-processed Item fulfillment to navigate to Item scanning page.

• If one waybill has only one item fulfillment and it is not processed, on the scanning, It will directly navigated to the item scanning page .   
• If all fulfillments with the scanned Waybill number are processed or if the IF with entered waybill number doesn’t exist, a message will show up saying “The Waybill is already verified or doesn’t exist”.

• The item scanning page will list the items in the Item fulfillment carton details sublist.

• The submit button will in the item scanning page will initially be in the disabled state. 
• Scan the item labels using Handheld scanner. 
  Or 
  Click the Scan Item button to scan item label.

• On item scan the status corresponding to it will becomes Processed. 
• Once all the item status becomes Processed, the submit button will be enabled and message will show on the page to notify the user that all items are scanned in the item fulfillment.

• On submit button click, if it is successfully processed then it will go to the page showing “OK Ready to ship” and the current date and user will be set in the Fulfillment record(Fields – 1. Pre dispatch Verification date 2. Pre Dispatch verification done by). Otherwise it will show the failure message page.

• The page shows after the submit button click will have two buttons, “Back” and “New Scan”. 
• On “Back” button click, it will go to the WMS picking page. 
• On “New Scan” button click, it will go to the Waybill scanning page. 
• Open the Processed item fulfillment in NetSuite to see the pre-dispatch fields got updated after the completion of pre-dispatch verification.

Point to Note 

• If a wrong item is scanned, we will show an message “Mismatch item” . 
•  
• If the item is already scanned, we will show an message “Scanning completed”. 
•  
• Curser pointer should set in the barcode field before scanning any barcode. (By default when a page loads, the cursor point will be set in the barcode field.) 
• The user shouldn’t click the browser back arrow to go to the previous page. It may repeat the same actions and disturb the flow of process.
