Account Classifications allow for the categorization of accounts within ReconArt. Specific to the configuration of Certification, Account Classifications are used to determine what kind of Certification procedure each account undergoes, and which Certification Template those accounts will follow in the Certification Module. Classifications have no impact on their own. Instead, specific Certification Preferences which are covered later in this course will be attached to Account Classifications.

Open the General section of the Preferences module. From there, click the Account Classifications icon.
Overview information displaying Account Classification names, descriptions, and the module mapping will be displayed in the table. The “Module” column determines where the Account Classification will be used. Only account classifications with “Certification” selected will be eligible for Certification configuration. When getting started in a new ReconArt environment, the Account Classifications list will be empty.
Adding a new Account Classification:
Step 1. Click the button.
Step 2. The system will add one line to the list of account classes. Click under the “Name” column to add the Classification name and under “Description” to describe the account class.
Step 3. Click within the “Module” column to select which module this classification will be applied to. For the purposes of this course, select ‘Certification’ from the drop down menu.
Once account classifications are created, they will be displayed in the table in alphabetical order unless the table is sorted by a different column.

To delete an Account Classification:
Step 1. Click on the Account Classification that needs to be deleted.
Step 2. Click the button.
Step 3. The system requires confirmation; click the
button to confirm deletion.

ReconArt Note: A module with red text indicates that the Account Classification is locked, meaning that it has been applied to an Certification Account. The Classification can not be deleted unless all associations with accounts are removed.
