Issue: MapReduce and scheduled scripts are not initiating at the same time of invocation since it is in a queue to process.
Solution: So we can Preserve the processor for the Execution of MapReduce and scheduled scripts of its priority are high.
Limitation: We cannot preserve the processor for a specific script. It can be preserved only for high priority tasks.
Execution of the scheduled/map-reduce script depends on the following factors:
- Scheduled/map-reduce script executes based on the priority/queue
- It will depend on the number of processors and the other tasks(scheduled scripts, MapReduce scripts, CSV imports, etc) in the queue.
- And already existing scripts in the production, which will also affect the queue.
The processor can be reserved for high priority tasks under suite cloud processors’ preferences.
setup –> company –> suite cloud processors
Under the section, advanced select the number of processors which needs to be preserved.
At least one suite cloud license should be necessary to preserve the processors
