Issue Faced: whenever creating new dashboard tiles, it is appearing in the custom portlet that sources “Dashboard tiles” even if that dashboard tile was not intended to appear in that custom portlet.
For example, refer to the screenshot below. It is a custom portlet located in a custom center tab. The “Unfulfilled transfer Order” dashboard tile should not appear in this portlet.
Solution:
It is possible to restrict the dashboard tiles to specific roles. For that, uncheck the “Display to all Roles” box in the Dashboard tile record. And select the desired role for which the dashboard tile should appear.
We can select one or more roles here. The roles field will be enabled only if the “Display to all roles” box is unchecked.
