3. Job Costing
The job costing can be related to setting up direct and indirect costs related to a project and measuring it against actual cost values against that project.
We will be creating a project Plan with a cost budget consisting of Labour, expenses and suppliers. This can be tracked against the project progress which is a combination of time reports, expense reports and purchase orders. The costs can be posted as journal entries especially for the time track recorded in the system once they are approved by project managers.
Single system for project activities including support for multiple subsidiaries and resources that work on projects outside their domiciled subsidiary. Netsuite ensures that project costs are correctly posted to the subsidiary that owns the project
