Proposal Summary
This proposal includes the possibility of adding Stripe as the payment method in the Enlighten Smiles Ltd-UK-NS/SCA.
Requirement
For adding the Stripe payment method the Enlighten Smiles Ltd team is going to use the customer portal for ordering and payment. They would like to make payments by Stripe. STRIPE is a payment Gateway used to pay the amount through their site.
Solution and Comments
Prerequisite
The Checkout page will be updated for adding the Stripe payment method. After integrating Stripe terms we’ll see the term as to payment and PayPal, Credit cards will not be available there.
As per our initial analysis, we understood that we need an activated stripe account in order to connect with the NetSuite. so could you please provide the stripe account credential for the further checking of the net suite connectivity?
The basic required data to STRIPE Connector for NetSuite (Suite Sync)
- An activated Stripe account. In order for us to connect securely to your Stripe account, it must be activated.
- A NetSuite account for testing the integration. A sandbox is recommended, but a production account can be used.
- NetSuite user credentials (for connecting to your NetSuite account).
Our Solution
Currently, we couldn’t able to set custom terms through SCA. So, we are planning to do the following,
- The custom payment option will be added to the Payment section on the website.
- Need to create a new Term named Stripe in NetSuite. We will provide an option to select the stripe in the Payment method section.
Please note: The option is available only for the customer having any terms (Mandatory) and enable the option (We can remove this section if it is needed to show the stripe option as default) in their account and the option will be available under the invoice section.
- And the order will be created with the payment type as “Invoice” and the new Terms will be updated in the sales order record.
- The mail will send if the customer chooses the Stripe option from the Website by adding a new section in the email.
- Also, we can provide an option to pay the order through the website from the confirmation page.

Check box field – We will need to create a checkbox for identifying whether the customer needs a stripe payment method or not?

Check box field – Check whether we need to send the email or not?
Assumptions
We’re assuming that Stripe Payment is already enabled in the NetSuite account and all required bundles have been installed.
The stripe option will be available only if the customer has terms and a new checkbox enabled
