Proposal Summary
This proposal summarizes the solution for sending the back-order notifying email to CSR of the customer listing only the orders of their customer and to send email to other recipients listing all the orders with an additional column for displaying the respective CSR’s.
Requirement
In the email that we receive when the warehouse receives the containers on the system, as of right now, these are being emailed to miamiwarehouse@****.com , Martin, logistics, elite partner and Andrea, but need to change it for the emails below and need to add a fourth column called CSR, this column needs to have the respective CSR for their customers just so when they receive this email. This email with column CSR should be sent to the recipients logistics@****.com , Cynthia.Martinez2@****.com, CorpDesign-DFW@****.com, liliana.cardenas@****.com and MiamiWarehouse@****.com. And the email should be sent to the CSRs with the only orders of their customer. The CSR should only receive the customers belonging to a CSR, not all orders for other customers/CSR.
Email notification should only be received at a specific warehouse where the IF is being received.
Our Solution
- As of now, these emails are sending to respective warehouses, Martin, Andrea, Logistics and Elite partner. We will update this recipient list to send these emails to respective warehouses, CSR and Logistics.
- We will update the existing script logic to send separate emails to the CSR and warehouses.
- The warehouses and logistics will receive the email listing all the orders in which the received item was back ordered but now back in stock, also there will be an additional column named CSR to display the name of that customers CSR.
- And, the CSR’s will receive the email listing only the orders of their customers in which the received item was back ordered but now back in stock.
Assumptions
- The table in the email body sending to CSR’s will not contain the 4th column for showing the CSR’s name, it’ll only contains 3 columns – Sales order, Customer name and Shipping method.
- If the customer doesn’t have a CSR, then the email will be sent to only the warehouses and logistics.
