This proposal covers the development of Adding a new Shipping Address Section to the Quote to the Sales Order Page.
Requirement
- Needs to add a shipping address section to the Quote to the Sales Order Page.
Our Solution
It is possible to display a shipping address Section below the Billing address. A sample screen shot is added below.
Currently the customer is not able to edit or update the Shipping address in the quote to sales order section. The customer will be able to edit or update the address in the shipping address section after the new update. For achieving the same need to make changes in the UI as well as in the current backend functionalities.
Assumptions
- Development will be initially done in the sandbox and then will be pushed to production after confirmation in Sandbox.
- There may be the possibility of unexpected errors as we are changing the standard functionality which we can identify only in the development process. We can check an alternative solution if such issue arises.
- The user will be able to add or update the Shipping address after the new update.
- A new section will be added in the Quote to sales order Section.
- We will consider the Sandbox and Production Update.
- We will develop a UI section based on the current theme and any additional changes to the UI, Theme, or functionality will be considered extra.
