Proposal For Amazon to NetSuite Integration Using Celigo

Requirement

The requirement is to integrate Amazon seller central with NetSuite using prebuilt Amazon Seller Central– NetSuite Integration App by Celigo. The Amazon accounts in the USA and CA marketplaces are to be synced to NetSuite.

Deliverables

Prerequisites

  • NetSuite account with administrator permissions.
  • Access to integrator.io
  • Access to Amazon Seller Central.
  • Licence for 2 accounts in Amazon seller central – NetSuite Integration App.
  • License for the add-ons FBA Inventory Adjustments and Transfer Order – Inbound Shipments

Description of the task

The requirement can be achieved by configuring the Amazon Seller Central – NetSuite Integration App in integrator.io. The Integration App provides automated data flows. When data in the source system is updated or new data is added, the corresponding records in the target system are also modified or updated.

The Integration to be achieved are listed below.

1. Import Orders and Customers from Amazon to NetSuite (FBA)

  • The Orders placed on Amazon are imported to NetSuite by the Order flow.
  • The FBA orders can be imported as Invoices in NetSuite.
  • The Customer flow is triggered by the Order flow.
  • When an Amazon Order is fetched by the flow the associated Customer is added or updated to NetSuite by the Customer flow.
  • We also have the option to sync all order to one single customers in NetSuite. Thereby we can skip the creation of new customer records in NetSuite for each new order from Amazon.

2. Import Settlement Reports from Amazon to NetSuite

  • This flow imports the Settlement report from Amazon Seller Central to NetSuite.
  • Settlement reports can be pulled automatically from Amazon by the flow or can be uploaded manually.
  • The flow creates a Settlement Summary Report and Settlement Transactions (both as custom records in NetSuite)

3. Import Payments from Amazon to NetSuite

  • When this flow is run, the integration app accesses the open invoice in NetSuite for every individual settlement transaction record associated with TRANSACTION TYPE > Order and attempts to create customer payments for these invoices.
  • The flow is auto triggered after the above-mentioned settlement report flows.

4. Import Refunds from Amazon to NetSuite:

  • This flow creates Credit Memo and customer refunds for the refunds generated in the settlement report.
  • When this flow is run, the Integration App accesses the open invoice in NetSuite for every individual settlement transaction record associated with TRANSACTION TYPE > Refund and attempts to create a Credit Memo and Customer Refund for these transactions.

5. FBA Inventory Adjustments (add-on):

  • The flow imports the FBA Inventory Adjustment report to NetSuite as per the scheduled time and create Inventory adjustments in NetSuite
  • NetSuite allows only 1000 lines in a single adjustment record. If an adjustment report contains more than 1000 lines, then the flow creates multiple inventory adjustment records, with each record of 1000 lines.

6. Transfer Order – Inbound Shipments (add-on)

  • The transfer orders are exported using the “NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment Plan” flow. A request is sent to Amazon to create an Inbound Shipment Plan.
  • Based on the shipment plan, the child transfer order(s) are created in NetSuite with the ShipmentID and Fulfilment Center ID details.
  • The child transfer orders are also linked to the original transfer order. The original transfer order is marked as “Closed”.
  • The “Item Fulfillment” records of the child transfer order(s) with status “Fulfilled” are exported using the “NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment” flow. Based on the shipment details Amazon creates Inbound Shipments.
  • The Amazon fulfillment network receives partial or full shipments. For the delivered shipments, the Item Receipts are generated in NetSuite.

Notes

  • Only the stores CA and US considered in this scope.
  • The “Premium” edition of the Amazon-NetSuite Integration app will be purchased.
  • The add-ons FBA Inventory Adjustments and Transfer Order – Inbound Shipments will be purchased.
  • The estimate encompasses the work required for the configuration and testing in Sandbox, and the production movement.
