Proposal Summary
This proposal covers the development in Thermoguard website. The need is to be updating a pick-up option, pick up option means customers can select any location and they will be picking the order by themselves.
Requirement
The real requirement is to set up a pick-up option, pick up option simply means the customer can select themselves of products, for example if we Order one product with more than one quantity, the first quantity will be delivered to a location and other quantity will be delivered to other location, simply the users will have to be selected multiple shipping address.
Our Solution
In SCA we have a feature called STORE PICK UP and the feature is really, a solution to this requirement of the pickup option, because by activating the features in the NetSuite side we can add this pick-up option
In this image we can see there we select 6 quantities of the same item, and 6 item can be shipped to different locations.
Limitations
- The first limitation is that if we use scriptable cart, then these features will not support.
- In NZ domain the feature not supported. [EXCEPTIONAL CASE]
Assumptions
In the limitation we notify that this feature not supported for NZ domain, but via another set up that is related to the website configuration, and through it we can tried this feature in the NZ domain also.
We have to configure the 3 domains with website and activate the feature, we can add this pickup option.
Points to Reminds
- We can do these all in the sandbox account, because we give more importance to the production website.
- There we have no sandbox set ups for checking the pickup Option.
- From our side, we can set these changes when and only the domains are activated in the sandbox, and setups the ssp application and more setups are done in it, according to these the estimated time may vary with an addition of time taken for these setups.
- Checking the more possibilities of the custom analysis when we failed in the first option.
Statement of work
The total concept of this updation about this pick-up option, using our store pick up feature in NetSuite, and by activating it’s all setups we can creating the pickup option, simply means the users can select multiple shipping address.
In the case that is mentioned in the limitation and assumption, if the feature is failed in the NZ domain, then we can go to the custom analysis. We have a source file about this multi-shipping process and by updating the functionalities and we have to set the option for NZ also.
Budget and Time
Time required: 30 hours+ time taken for setup the features in the Sandbox.
