This proposal covers the scope of creating the sales order by the parent customer for the sub customer.
Requirement
To creating the sales order by the parent customer for the sub customer
Deliverable
- We can introduce a new section on the webstore’s review page that allows the parent customer to create a sales order for the sub customer.
- This section will only be available to customers who have sub customers.
- Within this section, we have included a provision to select the specific sub customer for whom the order is intended.
- We have additionally included a customized free-form transaction body field in the sales order record. This field is designed to store the name of the chosen sub customer.
- Upon clicking the “Place Order” button on the review page, the name of the selected sub customer will be captured and saved in the sales order record.
- We intend to transform the sales order to reflect the name of the selected sub customer by mapping the contents of this field.
Scope & Limitation
- Any changes to the proposed solution will be considered as change request.
- Currently, we can only add items from the cart page of the parent customer to the sales order.
Assumption
- The UI will be matching to the current theme.
- If no selection is made in the “Order for Sub customer” section, the default method of creating a sales order in the customer’s name will be used.
- This section will only be available to customers who have sub customers.
