Deliverables

Transfer existing pixels to the new website

When migrating from Magento to SuiteCommerce standard, we can transfer the existing pixels from the Magento website to the new SCS website. The process involves implementing the pixel tracking codes in the appropriate locations within the SuiteCommerce standard theme or template files.

Product IDs will need to match what is firing with the pixel on the new site.

After the import of product data, we can check the tracking implementation is working correctly in SuiteCommerce standard and that it’s firing the correct Product IDs.

All existing Orders, Customers, Customers Accounts, Reviews, Keywords, Titles & Tags, etc.

Import the transformed data into SuiteCommerce standard. Depending on the specific requirements and capabilities of SCS, we may need to utilize CSV import/export functionality or leverage API integrations to transfer the data.

Pricing Wholesale Price, MSRP, Retail Sale Price, Crossed Price.

Export the pricing data from the Magento database, including wholesale price, MSRP, retail sale price, and crossed price. This can typically be done through a database export or by using data export functionalities provided by Magento.

Import the transformed pricing data into SuiteCommerce standard. This can be done using CSV import functionality or through API integrations provided by SCS. Ensure that the data is accurately imported into the appropriate pricing fields in SCS.

Past Orders, Accounts, Wholesale Accounts, Wholesale Orders, and Customer / Wholesaler complete history.

Import the transformed data into SuiteCommerce standard. Depending on the specific requirements and capabilities of SCS, we may need to utilize CSV import/export functionality or leverage API integrations to transfer the data.

Hosting WP Engine?

No, WP Engine is a separate web hosting company that specializes in hosting WordPress websites. SuiteCommerce standard (SCS), on the other hand, is an e-commerce platform offered by Oracle NetSuite.

While WP Engine focuses on providing optimized hosting specifically for WordPress sites, SuiteCommerce standard is a comprehensive e-commerce solution that includes features such as order management, inventory control, customer management, and more. SCS is designed to integrate with NetSuite’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, providing a unified platform for managing various aspects of an e-commerce business.

Website Actual Space Size

It is possible to migrate a website from Magento to SuiteCommerce standard (SCS) while maintaining its actual size, including all products, categories, and content.

The migration process typically involves transferring data such as product information, categories, images, customer accounts, order history, and other relevant content from Magento to SuiteCommerce standard.

Required Image Resizing, App Customization, Product Tagging

Image Resizing: When migrating from Magento, we will need to resize and optimize your product images to meet the specifications of SCS. This involves adjusting the image dimensions, resolution, and file sizes to align with the requirements of our SuiteCommerce standard theme or template.

App Customization: SuiteCommerce standard allows for customization through the use of Suite Apps, which are extensions or plugins that enhance the functionality and features of the platform. We will need to identify the equivalent Suite Apps or custom development solutions in SuiteCommerce standard.

Product Tagging Migration: Product tagging refers to the categorization and labelling of products with relevant keywords or tags for organizational and search purposes. When migrating from Magento to SuiteCommerce standard, we will need to migrate our product tags to the new platform. This involves mapping the Magento product tags to the appropriate fields or attributes in SuiteCommerce standard and ensuring that the tags are properly associated with the relevant products.

Plugin should be used through a reliable source that provides Updates regularly. No Nulled Plugin / Theme used in Website

SuiteCommerce follows a licensed model, and it is strongly advised not to use nulled plugins or themes on SuiteCommerce websites. NetSuite and SuiteCommerce partners offer official Suite Apps and extensions that are authorized and properly licensed.
