This proposal describes the Date manipulation on Auto invoicing in Netsuite.

Requirement 

Currently, there is a feature to automatically create invoices upon IF marked as shipped for USA orders. The Sales Order/IF date is set as the date on the automatically created invoice.

OX Tools USA would like to set today’s date as the trandate on the invoice.

Our Solution

The Scheduled workflow OX USA – Invoice Orders is used to create invoices by transforming sales orders. The workflow will trigger every 30 minutes a day and create invoices for sales orders having the status Pending Billing. 

This requirement can be achieved by updating the OX USA – Invoice Orders workflow to set today’s date as a trandate of auto invoice.

Risks

• The Transaction Date change will impact only the invoices that are going to be created after this update
