Proposal Summary
This proposal covers the scope of Implementing TDS On AR in NetSuite.
Aim of proposal:
To provide a detailed plan for setting up and managing TDS on AR processes in NetSuite, to improve compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in your organization’s financial operations. Specifically, the project will involve setting up a TDS on AR Criteria form and TDS on AR Result form to facilitate manual selection and application of TDS on AR to invoices. The project will involve setting up the required fields in NetSuite, testing and validating the TDS on AR functionality
Objectives:
- Improve the accuracy of TDS on AR calculations and reporting by providing a user-friendly and customizable interface for selecting and applying TDS on AR to invoices.
- Reduce errors in TDS calculation and reporting.
- Streamline TDS on AR processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Increase transparency and visibility into TDS on AR transactions.
Deliverables:
- Customized TDS on AR criteria form and TDS on AR transaction result form.
- In which we’ll select the invoice Where we want to apply TDS manually.
- Journal entry will be created and will be reflected in the transactions.

Requirement
To calculate TDS on AR, the organization currently uses customized forms, such as the TDS on AR Criteria form and TDS on AR Result form, which allow users to manually select the invoice of a particular customer and apply the TDS rate.

Deliverables
- We will be creating custom forms, TDS On AR criteria and transaction result form
- In TDS on AR criteria form, we will be adding customer field from where we can select the customer, from and to date fields to give the corresponding dates.
- When we make the entry in criteria form it will be redirecting to transaction result form, from where we can select the ledger,invoice,and apply the TDS.
Scope of Work
The project will involve implementing customized TDS on AR forms and fields in NetSuite, with the goal of automating the TDS calculation and journal entry creation process. The first step in the project will be to gather requirements, including any customization needs, required fields, user permissions.
Based on the requirements, we will design and develop customized TDS on AR forms. This will include creating a TDS on AR Criteria form and a TDS on AR Result form, as well as any necessary workflows to automate the TDS calculation and journal entry creation.
Once the customization is complete, we will perform thorough testing of the customized TDS on AR forms to ensure that they meet all functional and non-functional requirements.
We will provide comprehensive support to end-users to ensure that they are able to use the customized TDS on AR forms effectively and efficiently. We will deploy the customized TDS on AR forms and fields to the production environment, with appropriate change management processes and procedures in place to minimize disruption to business operations.
Finally, we will provide ongoing support and maintenance for the customized TDS on AR forms, including addressing any issues that arise and making any necessary enhancements or updates based on feedback from users.
Assumptions
- The development will be applicable only to TDS on AR calculation.
- To restore the functionality, it may be necessary to reconstruct and re-implement the script to implement TDS on AR calculation.
- The development will be done in SB account and on confirmation will move to Production.
- TDS On AR criteria, transaction result form and required fields will be created in SB and Production for testing the development.
Exceptions & Limitations
- If there are any issues or discrepancies between the previous script and the new forms and workflows, they should be identified and addressed to ensure that the same level of functionality is maintained.
