Proposal Summary

This proposal outlines the scope of the custom page for the inventory balance and transaction details on the NetSuite account at Nationwide Pharmaceutical (hereafter referred as the client) by Jobin&Jismi (hereafter referred to as Implementer).

 

This proposal covers the development of a custom Suitelet page in NetSuite to enhance inventory and transaction reporting. The Suitelet will provide detailed insights into inventory balances and recent transaction details, empowering users with filtering capabilities to retrieve specific data efficiently. By integrating inventory and transaction searches, the solution will streamline operational workflows and improve decision-making.

 

Requirement from Nationwide Pharmaceutical

 

The custom page needs to develop to fetch the data from inventory balance and transaction saved searches and display essential information such as location, item description, manufacturer, inventory number, average cost, expiration date, bin number, quantity on hand, available quantity, and Item Receipt (IR) details, including document number, IR date, supplier, and memo. Additionally, the page will require dynamic filtering options, allowing users to refine results by item and lot numbers to ensure precise and customized data retrieval.

Deliverables

The deliverables include the creation of a custom Suitelet page to display inventory balance and recent item receipt details in a single view.

The implementer has reviewed the requirement thoroughly and find below the deliverables the implementer propose.

 

As the standard saved search cannot be used to display the inventory balance details along with the corresponding recent Item Receipt details, a custom suitelet page will be provided for users to apply filters and view the details from the inventory balance and recent Item Receipt details on the custom page.

Custom page filters:

There will be 2 filters on the suitelet page are mentioned below:

·      Item: Users can select a specific item to display results related only to that item.

·      Lot Number: Users can select a specific lot number to filter results by that lot.

 

Custom Page Results:

The Suitelet page will display the following columns:

·      Location

·      Item description

·      Manufacturer

·      Inventory number

·      Average cost

·      Expiration date

·      Bin number

·      Quantity on hand

·      Available quantity

·      Item Receipt document number

·      Item Receipt date

·      Supplier

·       Item Receipt Memo

Additionally, a “Generate CSV Report” button will be included, enabling users to download the displayed results in CSV format.

Assumptions

 

• NetSuite’s standard styling will be used for the suitelet page. Custom styling can be applied to the custom page to enhance user-friendliness and improve the overall user experience.
• Filters will operate using AND logic, ensuring that results meet all selected filter criteria.
• If no filters are selected, the page will display all active items along with their corresponding recent item receipt details.
• Pagination will be implemented to manage the display of results based on the total number of records retrieved.
