This proposal covers the scope of the Advanced  PDF template customization and creation for Purchase order.

Requirement 

Utemaster needs to update the Purchase Order Pdf template to include quantity field for expense in item line and need to correctly populate this value in Print form.

Our Solution

  • The requirement can be achieved by creating a new Advanced PDF template for Purchase order. 
  • We will be creating a new custom field in the expense sublist for entering quantity. The value in this field will be reflected as quantity in the print form for expenses.
  • For item sublist, the quantity value will be fetched from the existing quantity field.
  • If no values are given in the quantity field,the quantity field values will be empty in print form.

Assumptions

  • We will develop the new pdf template in sandbox, and after confirmation we will move to production.
  • The new PDF will look like As per standard  template in the Netsuite account, sample PDF is added below.
  • We assume that we can follow the layout/model as similar to the layout of  the above standard template. We will include all the important fields by referring to the current basic PDF (including quantity for expense)in the purchase order, but may not consider the exact layout as per the current Basic PDF layout. Please give your confirmation and suggestion on this.
